Winchester’s newest attraction 878 AD is NOW OPEN at The Brooks! This exciting interactive experience takes visitors on a thrilling journey through the history Winchester, recreating key moments from Anglo-Saxon history through the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla developed by Ubisoft.
The experience is made up of two parts. The first is a visit to the interactive visitor attraction based here at The Brooks. Visitors will be able to witness the sights and sounds of Anglo-Saxon Winchester and discover the stories of the people who lived there, brought to life with spectacular graphics from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla® and Discovery Tour: Viking Age.
After you’ve explored everything at the main attraction, you’ll be able to take to the streets of Winchester and discover Alfred’s legacy with 878 AD: Winchester Revealed, the astonishing augmented and mixed reality app. Bring long forgotten buildings from Anglo-Saxon Winchester back to life, and discover the lost history of Winchester.
The exciting new attraction has been developed by the Hampshire Cultural Trust, Ubisoft and Sugar Creative.
